Interceptions in Denmark 1990
The Danish Ministry of Agriculture has summarized the interceptions of plants imported into Denmark in 1990. They were first to report 1990 interceptions to EPPO.
In 1990, a total of 18 consignments were intercepted and either returned or destroyed. Most common reasons for interceptions were the infestation of Euphorbia pulcherrima cuttings with Bemisia tabaci and/or the absence of a phytosanitary certificate.
Only one consignment was intercepted due to an infestation with an EPPO A1 quarantine organism: Liriomyza huidobrensis on Gypsophila stems from the Netherlands.
