Quarantine treatment for Dacus tryoni
Kiwifruits artificially infested with immature stages of Dacus tryoni were exposed to cold storage. First instars of D. tryoni proved to be most tolerant to cold storage. A period of 12 d at 1°C, however, resulted in 100% mortality of first instars.
