Tomato yellow leaf curl geminivirus reported in Iran
According to the Arab and Near East Plant Protection Newsletter, tomato yellow leaf curl geminivirus (EPPO A2 quarantine pest), transmitted by Bemisia tabaci, is present in many countries of the Near East where it causes serious damages on tomatoes and has been reported recently and for the first time from Iran.
