Amauromyza maculosa and Liriomyza huidobrensis present in Guadeloupe
A list of 70 Agromyzidae which occur in Guadeloupe has been published. The authors attributed to ten of these species a potential for economic importance. The ten species are: Melanagromyza caerulea, Ophiomya phaseoloides, Agromyza parvicornis, Japanagromyza phaseoli, Amauromyza maculosa, Cerodontha denticornis, Liriomyza marginalis, L. huidobrensis, L. sativae and L. trifolii. The records of L. huidobrensis (EPPO A2 quarantine pest) and Amauromyza maculosa (EPPO A1 quarantine pest) are the first for Guadeloupe.
