First report of Liriomyza huidobrensis in Turkey
Liriomyza huidobrensis (EPPO A2 quarantine pest) was found for the first time in Turkey in 1994. It was observed on Vicia faba, Cucumis sativus, and Phaseolus vulgaris in Içel and Izmir Provinces. It is becoming an important pest in the Eastern Mediterranean and Aegean regions.
