Anastrepha ludens trapped in California (US)
In November and December 1995, ten Anastrepha ludens (EPPO A1 quarantine pest) were trapped in California (US). Insecticide treatments have been carried out in the infested area and preparations are being made to release sterile fruit flies. In addition, quarantine measures are being applied to prevent movement of host material out of this area.
