Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. sepedonicus is not present in Romania
The EPPO Secretariat has recently been informed by the Plant Protection Service of Romania that Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. sepedonicus is not present in this country. In the EPPO distribution list, the record of potato ring rot in Romania was considered as unconfirmed. In fact, potato ring rot was recorded in 1957, in a single publication, and was never found by the central laboratory of plant quarantine since that date. Therefore, the official authorities consider that Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. sepedonicus is absent from Romania.
