Anthonomus grandis is not present in Ecuador
The EPPO Secretariat has recently been informed by the Ministry of Agriculture in Ecuador that Anthonomus grandis (EPPO A1 quarantine pest) has never been found in the country. This pest is of quarantine importance for Ecuador. The previous record arose probably from a confusion with Anthonomus vestitus. The EPPO database PQR on geographical distribution of quarantine pests will be modified accordingly.
