Publication on Aphis gossypii
A monograph (in French) entitled ‘Aphis gossypii Glover (Hemiptera, Aphididae)’ has been recently published by J.P. Deguine and F. Leclant. It gives details on taxonomy, biology, host plants, natural enemies of Aphis gossypii and control methods. Special emphasis is given to problems caused by A. gossypii on cotton crops particularly in subsaharan Africa.
