Liriomyza sativae found in Israel
During recent national field surveys carried out in Israel, Liriomyza sativae (EPPO A1 quarantine pest) was found. As the surveys are ongoing, the present distribution of L. sativae in Israel awaits further results. Several Israeli specimens are being sent to the Natural History Museum in London (GB) for confirmation. This pest had been intercepted by France (see EPPO RS 99/164).
