News from CPPC: Trogoderma granarium absent from Venezuela, Phyllocnistis citrella found in Grenada
Trogoderma granarium (EPPO A2 quarantine pest) is not present in Venezuela. This statement is made on the basis of surveys carried by officers of the Plant Health Service at storehouses in different cities of the country between January and March 1998.
Phyllocnistis citrella was observed for the first time in Grenada in August 1998. Preliminary data showed that the citrus leaf miner is present in almost all citrus-growing areas of the country.
