EPPO Reporting Service (2016/004) : during a survey conducted in 2007/2008 on pepper (Capsicum annuum) and tomato crops, TSWV was detected in samples collected from the following Governorates: Dar'a, AlQunaitara, Damascus countryside, Idleb, and Aleppo.
