Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2011/028) : first found in 2005 in a nursery (province of Drenthe). All infected plants were destroyed and the pathogen was no longer found (the 2005 outbreak was considered eradicated). In 2010, P. lateralis was detected again in Almedo (province of Overrijssel, 85 km away from the initial finding site). The origin of this infection could not be traced back. Under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2014/084) : a revision of the Dutch pest risk assessment concluded that because P. lateralis was already present in Europe (France, United Kingdom) and its eradication seemed unlikely, official measures would be discontinued in the Netherlands.
