Final report of the International Year of Plant Health
In December 2018, the United Nations General Assembly declared 2020 the International Year of Plant Health (IYPH). Despite the difficult COVID-19 situation, many national and regional initiatives took place to raise awareness about plant health and reflect on future policies. The FAO has just published the final report of the International Year of Plant Health. This report presents the key outcomes and achievement of the year and highlights its main legacies (e.g. a proposal to establish an International Day of Plant Health, a scientific review of the impact of climate change on plant pests, a Youth Declaration).
