Liriomyza trifolii not present in Denmark
In EPPO data sheet N°131 concerning Liriomyza trifolii, Denmark is erroneously included in the list of countries in which Liriomyza trifolii is present.
The organism was in a few instances found on imported plants but vigorous steps were taken to eradicate it from the premises where it was discovered. The campaign was successful and the pest was eradicated.
Similar campaigns will be carried out whenever the pest is found in order to maintain the status of Denmark as a non-infested country.
