Tomato yellow leaf curl geminivirus
TYLCV, transmitted by Bemisia tabaci (EPPO A2 List), has been characterized as a geminivirus (Y. Antignus et al., ARO, Bet-Dagan, IL; abstract St. I-8-2). It is the single most important disease affecting tomato production in the Cape Verde Islands (Z .Z . Levy, INIA, Praia, CV; abstract P. VIII-2-36).
