Second Symposium "Intractable Weeds and Plant Invaders", 2008-09-14/18, Osijek, Croatia
The European Weed Research Society will organize the symposium "Intractable Weeds and Plant Invaders", on 2008-09-14/18 in Osijek, Croatia. The primary objectives of this symposium are to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of recent and ongoing research in the fields of invasive plants and weed science.
The following sessions are planned:
- Biology and ecology of Ambrosia artemisiifolia
- How to control Ambrosia artemisiifolia?
- New techniques and information technology,
- Invasive plants, Biological control of weeds,
- Weed management in arid and semi-arid climates,
- Invasive aquatic plants (to be confirmed).
